Ziedrich’s Diary 6 – Time Flies

To think that I’m nearly 25 years old proves to me that time flies too fast sometimes, things come and go and I can barely remember any of my past due to it coming and going way WAY too fast.

My oldest memory is when I was 5 years of age, during play time at my primary school, watching this big group of kids playing football, I was next to the goal watching it all happening, forgot what the scores was but as I watched a tackle and the ref called for a free kick. As the opposing team were forming their wall to block the shot, I found myself slowly moving further forward from the goal posts, the whistle was blown and the striker of the free kick took a deep breath and he ran to the ball, gave it a almighty bash and it flew but it was a little far to the side, the ball was heading right towards me. Before I could react, the ball hit me in the face and flew from my head and towards the goal, the keeper didn’t see it coming until it was too late, he jumped to grab the ball but it rolled into the net, the team was electric, jump around and hugging me for the goal, of course, the ref didn’t see the collision of ball and my face so he took the goal, haha!

What a weird day that was….

Another reason I think time flies too fast for me is the fact that waiting for new game releases, they seem to arrive in the shops earlier but it’s only when I look at the calender that I notice it released on it’s actual date but since I was anticipating it so much, I guess I lost track of time itself.

I mean knowing about Elder Scrolls: Skyrim coming this November 11th and then noticing that it’s been 5 years since Elder Scrolls: Oblivion had been released kinda made me wonder where has all the time gone these days. Even working doesn’t seem to slow time down most of the time but I guess time has to pass so it’s unavoidable in the end.

Speaking of gaming, the Mortal Kombat 9 Demo was released this week, it’s only for Playstation Network Plus members but I’m sure normal members will get it within a few weeks so be patient and it will soon arrive. After playing the demo a few times, this is by far the best looking MK game so far and I’m kinda wondering how Kratos from God of War will get involved in this game, we will have to find out soon enough, the game comes out April 19th so look out for it!

Going to end it here for this week, I’ll try to make another diary post when I get the time, see ya!

Wow, mentioning how long it was between TES releases makes me feel old now too!

I think when you have a goal, something to look forward to, it does make time go faster! I have a feeling this year will fly for the both of us. I can’t believe it’s already March! Next thing I know it will have been a year since i’ve single, a year since i’ve gone to Japan, I’ll have graduated uni and Skyrim will be out. Amazing!
