1# Mark Henry def Bryan

2# Mark Henry def Kane

5# Swagger def Orton

Winner – Jack Swagger

Match 4 – The Shield vs John Cena, Sheamus & Ryback (6 man tag)

Winners – The Shield

Match 5 – Dolph Ziggler vs Koft Kingston

Winner – Dolph Ziggler

Match 6 – Kaitlyn vs Tamina (Divas Title)

Winner – Kaitlyn

Match 7 – The Rock vs CM Punk (WWE Title, Rock loose title if he is counted out or DQ’d)

Winner – The Rock

Overall – I didn’t think that this was a good PPV, it had it’s moment but as a whole, it was okay, the second Rock/Punk match wasn’t as great as the first match back at the Royal Rumble and the fact that there was only one Elimination Chamber match really angered me a little

The 6 man tag was something different, The Shield winning was something I didn’t expected but liked it, Roman Reigns really shined in that match out of the 3 members of Shield, he truly showed potential and that big spear through the wall with Shemaus was painful to watch, it was almost like a Gore Gore Gore from Rhino, it just had so much power behind it!

Anyway, the chamber match that was shown was decent, Jack Swagger winning was something I was 50/50 about, I guess they would push him eventually since he almost wanted to quit WWE from lack of use of his talents as of late, let’s hope they actually give me some serious momentum towards WrestleMania against Del Rio….

Hell In A Cell 2012

Sunday 28th October

The pre-show was mainly about John Cena on about the AJ scandal but then gets attacked by Dolph Ziggler and knocks him out of the ring, so naught really of interest….

Match 1 – Randy Orton vs Alberto Del Rio

Winner – Randy Orton

Match 2 – Daniel Bryan & Kane vs Rhodes Scholars (WWE Tag Titles)

Winners – Rhodes Scholars via DQ so Team Hell No retain the titles

Match 3 – Kofi Kingston vs The Miz (Intercontinental Title)

Winner – Kofi Kingston

Match 4 – Antonio Cesaro vs Justin Gabriel (US  Title)

Winner – Antonio Cesaro

Match 5 – Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara vs Prime Time Players

Winners – Team Rey

Match 6 – Sheamus vs Big Show (World Heavyweight Title)

Winner – Big Show

Match 7 – Eve vs Layla vs Kaitlyn (Triple Threat for Divas title)

Winner – Eve

Match 8 – CM Punk vs Ryback (Hell in a Cell match for WWE title)

Winner – CM Punk (after the referee got involved and low-blowed Ryback, allowing a cheap win)

Overall – It was a decent PPV but the end of the Ryback/Punk match was utter BS, seriously, the match only lasted under 11 1/2 minutes, not exactly a proper main event or the ending to one, the best match in my view was Sheamus/Big Show match, that had good story behind it and was shocking to see Big Show win it but also that Dolph Ziggler never cashed in his MITB case.

I just hope WWE know what they are doing with Ryback come monday on RAW coz that match wasn’t good at all, the crowd in the PPV wasn’t much involved with the whole event so didn’t have the right atmosphere from start to finish

Match 5 – Layla vs Eve (Divas Title)

Winner – Eve

Match 6 – Sheamus vs Alberto Del Rio (World Title Match)

Winner – Sheamus

Match 7 – CM Punk vs John Cena (WWE Title)

Winner – Draw (Both wrestlers had their shoulders on the mat during Cena’s german suplex bridge thus CM Punk remains champion)

Overall – A good PPV, some shaky matches with most of them having slow starts but the Cena/Punk match was another display of great wrestling and story telling skill, the ending with a draw really did puzzle me but that does make Punk still to champion for another day

I don’t know if anyone else noticed but during the Orton/Ziggler match, you ever noticed that Randy Orton actually stuck up his middle fingers just before he goes to prepping the RKO, he did apologize on Twitter so he might just get a slap on the wrist

Match 9 – John Cena vs John Laurinaitis (If Laurinitis loses, he is fired)

Winner – John Laurinitis (With help from the Big Show)

Overall – This PPV has plenty of highs and plenty of lows, the best match of the night was CM Punk against Daniel Bryan match, that was just fantastic! The Cena/Laurinitis match was more of a comedy show than an actual wrestling match so try not to treat it seriously, this might be setting up Cena vs Big Show at No Way Out next month when he helped Laurinitis win his match….

28 – Randy Orton (Chris Jericho)

29 – Chris Jericho (Sheamus)

30 – Big Show (Randy Orton)

Winner – Sheamus

Overall – Well…. That could’ve gone better but I’ve seen worse (Like last year’s rumble for instance), for the 25th anniversary, it didn’t say alot for itself, half of the matches were forgettable like the Divas match and Brodus/Drew match, the rumble itself was a bit of a mess but I am glad Sheamus is getting another big push although I suspected quite a few people wanted Jericho to win it since he was hyped for so long, sometimes I really wonder what path the WWE is actually going….

Match 7 – Mark Henry vs Big Show (World Heavyweight Title)

Winner – No Decision (Both were knocked out)

Match 8 – John Cena vs Alberto Del Rio (Last man standing match for WWE Title)

Winner – Alberto Del Rio

Overall – Plenty of surprises and pretty good PPV, the last half of the PPV gained the most ground and had the best matches, those who remember the Brock Lesner/Big Show nostalgia with the ring breaking should be surprised that it could never be repeated and the fact that Alberto/Cena match still went on with a broken ring was pretty daring but good showings all round!
