Overall – I was telling a friend the other day that I fear for this Wrestlemania being like the 25th anniversary PPV where there are high calibur matches but all were weak in the actual match, this turns out to almost be just like it and like the 25th WM, it was the Undertaker’s Streak match that saved the day

I suspect that the second Rock/Cena match wouldn’t be as alluring as last year’s WM as everyone thought it was just going to be the “Once In A Lifetime”, oh how the WWE love to play with us, not to mention I hear that Rock might get involved in the build up to Wrestlemania 30

I really think that the Undertaker’s Streak has gone on for long enough, Taker should have retired it at 20-0 but I hear that Taker was in need of some funding so they gave him this match as a jackpot for him, I watched on TV not long ago that Taker was coming to the UK on the WM Revenge Tour for the first time in 4 years, as nice is that was, he should really retire his career if he is to not do himself too much damage as he is getting quite old now

WWE manager Paul Bearer passed away

Sad news in the world of wrestling as WWE legendary manager, Paul Bearer aka Percy Pringle, has passed away at the age of 58

Paul Bearer was the manager to The Undertaker in his early days and throughout the attitude era whilst making the odd cameo appearance in the later days with Kane

The news was confirmed from WWE themselves on Tuesday, no reason for his passing has been revealed but with his constant health problems due to his weight, I assume it has something to with that if anything

I grew up loving Undertaker and Paul Bearer and I was actually almost in tears, on his twitter and pictures he shows of his family, he was such a kind and amazing individual and I always followed his tweets and photos
It is sad to see such an amazing manager of the WWE pass away and I hope Vince gives him a Hall of Fame position as he damn well deserves it!

Rest In Peace Paul Bearer, we will never forget you….. Oh Yessss!

——————-

Overall – The first hour was just awful, seriously, the Sheamus/Bryan match lasted a mere 18 seconds, I wouldn’t call that a title match by a long shot and most Diva matches bore me anyway. The best matches of the night and what made this Wrestlemania special was the Jericho/Punk, Undertaker/HHH and Rock/Cena matches, they were fantastic and lived up to their hype!

With the Undertaker 20-0, he has reached another milestone in WWE history, it’s just a question of will he retire his streak or carry on…. In terms of the Rock and Cena match, the outcome was quite surprising with The Rock beating John Cena in a actual clean fight, I wonder what will happen on RAW the following day….

WWE Raw 30/1 – Undertaker Returns!

January 31, 2012 Leave a comment

He has finally returned!!!

At the end of the 30th January edition of WWE Raw, we witnessed the return of The Undertaker, The Phenom, The Deadman, a man that requires so little words and has so many names, and he looks….a little different to be honest….

Just when Triple H was about to, what seemed like, fire John Laurinaitis from the WWE, the gong sounded and the arena went blank and then Undertaker’s music hit, the man himself approached the ring in his usual slow fashion, HHH had his eyes fixed on Taker through the whole thing while John made a run for it.

Undertaker and HHH got up face to face, Taker then looked up at the Wrestlemania XXVIII sign, looked back at HHH and did a slit throat taunt, expecting HHH to answer his challenge for what looked like a 3rd encounter at Wrestlemania, all HHH did was walk past him and patted his shoulder and walked off, made a brief pause at the ramp and then went backstage.

This might mean that HHH doesn’t want to face Undertaker at Wrestlemania but we will see how things play out in the coming weeks…. It is good to see the Undertaker back in the WWE although one thing puzzles me about his appearance….

…. Did anyone notice his weird hair style, looks like he was wearing a wig, might just be me

Undertaker News – Can he go one more Wrestlemania?

June 20, 2011 Leave a comment

I’ve been reading recently on what’s been going on with WWE Legend, The Undertaker, and found out that Undertaker has enough strength for at least one more Wrestlemania before throwing the towel for the last time.

It’s only a small update on the Wrestlemania Streak owner but from what I have read up, he is still recovering from what he suffered at Wrestlemania 27 against Triple H, he is fine just needs alot of rest but he does know that he can no longer work on a full, or even part-time WWE schedule due to his physical condition.

The good news is that he can perform in at least one more Wrestlemania, after that…. It’s all down to chance on if Undertaker can withstand anymore Wrestlemania matches, if his physical body can take anymore of it that is.

Poll – What happens to Undertaker next?

April 10, 2011 Leave a comment

I am pretty curious on everyone’s opinions on what you think will happen to the Undertaker after Wrestlemania 27?

Will he go on to WM28? Go 20-0 and beyond? 19-1? Perhaps retire after WM28 with the streak intact?

Vote in the poll below and share you opinions on Undertaker’s future in the WWE

If you want also, you can comment on a possible Wrestlemania 28 opponent for Undertaker but is there really anyone left for Undertaker to defeat? Please share you opinions!

Undertaker’s condition after Wrestlemania 27

April 5, 2011 55 comments

Yesterday, Paul Bearer (Percy Pringle) said on his twitter page that the Undertaker, after his brutal match with HHH at Wrestlemania 27, is doing alright.

Many people would’ve thought that after such a intense match and the aftermath, from the Undertaker collapsing and being taken away in a stretcher, he would be in quite a poor condition but your worries can now be put to one side, Undertaker is okay, just needs some rest to recover from such a great match.

Recently he has been advertised for a tag match for a live crowd during the Smackdown recordings this week, if this is the case, I hope he isn’t pushed too hard, after such a match, the guy needs a short holiday to recover.

All in all, I, aswell as many fans, should be glad that Undertaker is doing fine and is recovering nicely!
